In this worksheet, you'll determine the broad view of your content needs. First, list the frequently asked questions, comments and concerns that your prospective customers typically ask in each stage of the buying process. Then, group these into key themes. From there, determine what content assets already exist, and the assets that need to be developed. Prioritize the development list by assigning key milestone dates.
Content Marketing Calendar
Using the information from the Planning worksheet, use this worksheet to schedule the detailed editorial calendar. Each month has been formatted with four weeks. Try selecting a different key theme each month. Within each month, list the specific titles of content that expand on the theme. Determine what type of content it will be, i.e. blog, article, video, e-book, etc. List the planned publication date and the production due date. List the media channels for placement and promotion of the content. Define the measurable goals for each content, and record the actual results.
